EasyClaimLetters is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. We provide a self-service document generation tool that produces a Letter Before Action from information you supply. Using this service does not create a solicitor–client relationship.
Jurisdiction
The letters we produce follow the Civil Procedure Rules pre-action protocols for the small claims track in England & Wales (claims up to £10,000). The service is not designed for Scotland, Northern Ireland, or claims outside the small claims track.
Accuracy is your responsibility
The letter is generated from the answers you provide. You are responsible for the accuracy of those answers and for reviewing the finished letter — including the amounts, dates, deadlines, and statements of fact — before you send it. We provide an editable Word document so you can make changes.
No guarantee of outcome
Sending a Letter Before Action does not guarantee any particular outcome. Whether the other party responds, pays, negotiates, or proceeds to court is outside our control.
When to seek advice from a solicitor
For complex matters — including claims over £10,000, personal injury claims over £1,000, housing disrepair claims over £1,000, cross-border disputes, or anything involving contested facts, business insolvency, or regulatory issues — we strongly recommend speaking to a qualified solicitor before taking action.
