What's the small claims limit?

£10,000 in England & Wales (£1,000 for personal injury or landlord repair claims).

How long does it take?

Most users finish the form in 10–15 minutes. The letter is generated immediately after payment — usually within 20 seconds.

Can I edit the letter?

Yes — we provide a Word document so you can adjust it before sending.

What if my claim is over £10,000?

You'll need to use the fast track and may want a solicitor. The small claims tool isn't suitable.

What information will I need?

The other party's name and address, a plain-English account of what happened with key dates, the amount you're claiming, and any supporting evidence (invoices, contracts, photos, messages).

Do you offer refunds?

Yes. If we fail to generate your letter for any technical reason, you get an automatic refund. If you're unhappy with the letter for any other reason within 7 days, email hello@easyclaimletters.com and we'll refund you.

Is my data safe?

Your claim details are stored in your account and only accessible to you. We don't sell your data or share it with third parties. See our privacy policy for full detail.

Do I have to send the letter myself?

Yes. We generate the letter as a PDF and Word document. You print, post, or email it — this keeps you in control of the process.
